Scriabin'S LEMONS
2012
Installation of sound and light colored

The installation is composed of a keyboard of lemons extended for 2 octaves, including sharps, for a total of 24 fruits. Touching lemons, you can play a synthesizer controlled by a computer. The work is a tribute to the experience of the Russian musician Aleksandr Scriabin lived between 800 and 900. He had associated with a specific color to each note, and with this setup it is possible to reproduce the colors set by the musician playing the various musical notes. The keyboard of lemons is a choice that is part of a process of attention to nature in a period of severe anxiety conditions. Part from a previous installation "heaven lemon" where the lemon trees have been used to produce light through the electrochemical reaction between the juice of the fruits and the metals copper and zinc. The electricity produced was flashing an LED for the life of lemon. It was the sun's energy accumulated in the fruit during ripening that would emerge from the lemon.

2012
Installation of poetry and words

Breath is an interactive installation of words.
It is composed of 4 mouths carved placed on top of a 4-pipe kept upright by a simple structure. At the other end of the tubes, are applied to the floor of the speakers so that the sound is conducted from the tube towards the exit where is located the mouth. The visitor is invited to blow on ports to enable the recitation of twenty poems. Every mouth / speaker plays his part assigned to poetry while the other mouths are silent or, if activated by the breath-visitors from other actors, can simultaneously recite other different. When he finishes one of the poems the system automatically switches to the next and should blow again to listen to one of the ports. It is an intimate installation in which the breath of the passer gives life to a story recited to him only and is implicitly required an exchange of emotional closeness between the poetic text and the person who created the work through his own active participation. Breath is part of a development of my interactive work the last two years dedicated to the word and poetry. Other similar works are Word with texts of Naples millionaire and a recent version of Word with lyrics by 100 thousand billion poems Raymond Queneau in which the proximity of the request and that of the hand. This latest version of Word has been submitted in partial implementation at the Science Festival of Genoa, October and November 2011. For these new interactive work has been carried out and an original digital system for interactivity www.theremino.com that allows to detect the action of the viewer and put in relation with the contents and preordered on your computer. These works are "incomplete" that require external participation to be realized. And "unstable" because the narrative is virtually infinite and random.

Breath is an interactive installation of words. It is composed of four mouths carved in soap hanging on the wall. Under every mouth is a speaker facing the visitor is invited to blow out the vents. The breath triggers the emission of the sentences of a poem by Luca Artioli divided into four parts, each distributed in individual mouths carved. Every mouth / speaker plays his part assigned to sentences of poetry while the other ports are silent or, if activated by the breath-visitors from other actors, can simultaneously play the other sentences. When ending one of the lines of the poem the system automatically switches to the next and should blow again to listen to one of the ports. POEMS MADE BY HAND
2011
Genoa Science Festival

Poems made by hand is an interactive speech and combinatorial poems. The work is made using one of my new and original digital system Theremino that allows interaction between spot and visitors through various peripherals. For this installation it has been used a type that detects the proximity of the hand that moves towards or away from a metallic sensor. The approach of the hand or there away from the sensor is placed in direct relationship with a pre-recorded vocal track so if your hand approaches a song is played back correctly if it stops the voice stops when you move the hand track in real time, is turned over and played backwards. The work freely interprets 100 thousand billion poems of the early 60s, the French writer and poet Raymond Queneau. His work allowed to create in free combination of the sonnets from a base date of 10 sonnets. Reading for example, the first sentence of the sonnet one and passing to the second sonnet of three and so on by combining the following sentences from different sonnets is possible to realize the astonishing number of 100 thousand billion different sonnets. Poetry handmade employs a similar structure because each sensor contains the sentences of a sonnet, so for others with different sonnets. It is expected to be a collaborative work between several people bringing the hand to the sensors will recite sonnets composed from your computer instantly and always different. Of course, the participants will have to coordinate their actions to hear sentence after sentence the development of poetry. Or settle for a sum of contemporary voices more akin to a local market!

(The Italian translation of the texts of the sonnets of Queneau is curated by Donato Prosdocimus)

WORD
2010
Installation of poetry
poetry installation
2010 Torino, Paratissima
, 2011, Como, another story. Italian art from the eighties years to Zero

Word is a job that is manifested through the sounds. It is an interactive installation operated by an electronic digital sensing the proximity of the hands of visitors-participants that the approach or move away from symbolic objects on display. It is a small digital theater staff, populated by "magic" hidden actors who play along in our childish gesture creator. The movement of the hands is in real time associated with one of the tens of sounds contained in the computer memory. As the hand goes closer to the object, the sound will be "played" forward, if the hand also stops the sound stops. And if your hand moves back the sound back on his feet played down. A sort of slow motion sound. The content, sounds, phrases are freely taken from a part of Kaddish by Allen Ginsberg and read out automatically by the computer voice. Written in the late 50's desperate Ginsberg's poetry is dedicated to mother died in a mental hospital. This work is a reinterpretation of shamanic and propitiatory hymn to reappear poets we illuminate our contemporary dark. The installation is made using Theremino, a new digital system that I just realized for the management of sound and interactive digital content.

"Word" is a Work That is Realised through sound. It is an interactive installation managed by a digital automism That senses the proximity of the hands of visitors - Participants, who approach or move away from the symbolic Exhibited objects. It is a small personal digital theater, populated by "magical" concealed actors who echo our childhood creative gestures. Becomes The movement of the hands, in real time, associated with one of the ten sounds contained in the computer's memory. As the hand gradually moves closer to the object, the sound will be played in advance, if the hand stops Also the sound ceases. And if the hand withdraws Also the sound 'retreats' and turns back on itself. A sort of slow motion in sound. The material, the sounds, are phrases freely derived from a part of "Kaddish" by Allen Ginsberg and are automatically repeated by the computer's voice. Written at the end of the 1950's Ginsberg's mournful poem was dedicated to His mother who died in a mental asylum. This work is a reinterpretation of shamanistic and propitious hymn So THAT poetic writings reappear That enlighten our dark contemporary state. Realised The installation was using Theremino, a new digital system That I have just developed for managing the interaction of sound and digital material.

KEEP IN TOUCH
2010
Installation of words
Festival della Valle d'Itri
Palazzo Ducale, Martina Franca (TA)

Reflections for a sound installation inspired by the comedy "Naples Millionaire" by Eduardo De Filippo. I have read, listened to the text of De Filippo, watched the film that he was taken in '50, and identifies immediate emotions that surely beyond a critical analysis of the play. I have captured and intrigued by the presence of objects that gradually accumulate with the progressive enrichment with the black bag, the pair Amalia / Errico making a resounding contr'altare instead, with the impoverishment of the population caused by the war, the other characters. Impoverishment that affects Gennaro so fiercely to drive it in a war that kidnaps him to throw it through the whole of Europe, a metaphor for the involvement of all the people in the disaster of war, a world view painted with family. An impoverishment of goods, food, affection, home, homeland, which penetrates in him so strongly to force him to tell the time atrocious facts that do not want to abandon his memories for not just leave empty. He too has been enriched, but tragedies and absences. Objects that appear in the first part describes the condition of poverty more or less common to the inhabitants of the district. Poor things: cups of coffee, a bowl of maccaruni advanced stale bread. In the second part come into play and brilliant new objects just acquired with the business of the black market, diamonds whose light should illuminate what I think is still a low dark. And then money, Mille Lire in paper money, sheets and sheets of money that Gennaro seem a joke, crazy and wielding without my bangs or 'core. The presence of objects such as ostentatious symbols dell'agiatezza grabbed his teeth in a fight by "every man for himself" in the wreck of the war, not just left to fill their need. Do not bring the miraculous medicine for Rituzza. It is a wealth longed now real, but devoid of footholds moral. And it is the morality that war, of course, zero in every heart that Gennaro despairs when he thinks of vacuum so much destruction in the face of anything that finds the way back. The same emptiness of the serious illness of blunt filled only the offer unconditional Spasiano the accountant and the expectation that the night elapses. For a new dawn of healing thanks to a medicine that penetrates through the social body and face come to your senses and restores forgotten values.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
I decided to re-enact "Naples Millionaire" making headlines - literally objects with the voice actors. The installation will consist of some of the objects (silent) in the comedy that will be presented to the user working on a table, similar to the one around which the family of Gennaro with his daily life and his trades. Move your hand to talk about these objects will activate the sound of one of the many phrases of comedy. This is possible thanks to a new and original digital system based on the PIC microcontroller series called 24 Theremino system. Theremino The system is divided into two parts. One controls a network of small sensitive metal surfaces, interfaces (up to 200), connected via USB to the computer. The second consists of software that receives information from the interfaces recognizes the spatial location and when activated, it applies the appropriate sound element called dall'hardisk recalling the various sounds of the computer. The activity of the sensitive elements is analog and linear, that is, fails to recognize the movement of the hand which is approaching in a field of action of tens of centimeters. Move your hand to metallic elements recordings of the sentences will be played forward, the right way that makes them intelligible. While removing the hand from the same phrase will be played in reverse, so incomprehensible, eliminating the time, retracing their steps as if to underline the expectations of renewal frustrated by Gennaro. The phrases collected by the text of the play and work are included in the 100, divided into four groups that correspond to the objects identified in Naples Millionaire symbol: cup of coffee (for a description of everyday life), tickets for a thousand lire (the black market), jewelry-diamonds (rapinoso the desire of liberation from poverty through material goods: the caresses of plastic) box of medicines (for the tragedy of the disease of the small daughter of Gennaro, who risks death without a medicine that even the black bag can procure).

The voice of the earth is a digital landscape that can be taken using a joystick. You walk through the streets of a labyrinth made up of about 400 walls on which they are applied photographs. The images come from photographs of the Earth from geostationary satellites recorded. In the land of the paths are present, but invisible to the passage of the sounds that are activated through and emerge from computer memory. The paper proposes the paradox of an object seen and photographed from the outside in a virtually infinite space, but revived in a limited landscape and concluded as that achieved artificially by the calculation system of a computer. The sounds are like fragments of voices and sounds taken randomly from an air sudden and disorderly collected wandering around the Internet. Only the human voice with an old Neapolitan folk melody accompanies us through invisible paths.

Each pair is composed of an agent transmitter and one receiver. They both bring a helmet to work on which is placed a radio transmitter and a radio receiver in the other. The transmitter holds the end of a shower sprayer that has been modified by inserting a micro camera into space which usually out of the water. The camera can easily be held in any position by the person transmitter also come very close to the subjects for macro shooting. Images taken from the room are placed on the helmet and sent to the radio broadcast on a special channel to the respective radio receiver installed on the helmet worn by the recipient. The received images are displayed by a television monitor worn over the shoulders in a backpack worn by the person receiving modified. The two systems receiver and transmitter are powered by rechargeable batteries brought to life in a special pouch. The couple can move freely sending and receiving images and sounds collected in real time the environment in which it operates. The gift of ubiquity. On Air multiplies the video image by moving the subject in a contiguous space and contemporary but independent. A second stage in a theater confusing and overlapping representations identical, none of which is the main or most true. Recite contiguous and autonomous, complete, and with their own narrative parallel or divergent, but with the same viewer urged to pursue sound and images in real or virtual spaces that arise and fade in the present time emphasizing a contemporary digital information. "In his work, the painter observes a natural distance from what is given, the operator instead penetrates deeply into the fabric of the data. The pictures you get are both vastly different. That of the painter is complete, the operator is multiformemente fragmented, and its parts are composed according to a new law. Thus, the filmic representation of reality is for the man of today is incomparably more significant, since, precisely on the basis of his intense penetration by this equipment, offers the appearance, free from the equipment, he can legitimately ask the opera d 'art.'

UNDER ATTACK
2001
Installation videos

I made a container of the neutral form that presents itself as a metal box attached to the wall as a kind of framework. This light box contains a monitor, a complete computer and a system through which a proximity sensor detects the presence and the distance of a person who stands in front of the object. The generic name of this container is: Remote Stills and it is an object dedicated to the interaction with the video images.
Inside the memory of the hard disk of the computer of Remote Stills is stored the contents of each job, it is dozens of video that are activated by the presence of an observer. With a specially written software is associated with the distance at which the person is located away from the monitor to the length of the video, if the person is away from the video monitor is positioned at the start ready to go. As it approaches the video progresses, if the person stops the video stops and moves back if the video goes backward. When the person stops for a few seconds, the video projection is automatically replaced with other content on the hard disk of your computer. The project is a natural progression from my previous work with photographic images from television frame. From the daily recordings from the media after a digital editing, revenue short videos that theme will be stored in the hard disk for the realization of a specific job. The first realization is a multiple of 9 pieces on the theme of the suicide attack on the Towers in New York on 11 September. The work is composed of a dozen of videos collected from various international media. The title is: UNDER ATTACK.

I have produced a neutral container Which shape looks like a metal box to be fixed to the wall as a kind of picture. This "light box" contains a monitor, and a complete computer system Which, by means of a proximity sensor, detects the presence of the person who is in front of it. The common name of this container is: "Remote Stills" and is an item meant for the interaction with video images. Stored inside the memory of "Remote Stills" 's computer hard drive there is the content of each single work, dozens of Videos That are activated by the presence of the spectator. With a software specially written, the person's distance from the monitor is linked to the length of the video, if the person is distant from the monitor the video is at its beginning, ready to start. As he gets closer to the monitor the video is played, if the person stops Also the video stops and if he moves backwards Also the video does. When the person stops for a couple of seconds the video is automatically shown Replaced with another one stored in the computer's hard disk. The project is a natural evolution of my previous photographic works with images taken from television frames. From daily recordings taken from the media, after a digital editing, I produced some short thematic videos Which will be stored in the hard disk to create a specific work. production The first is a multiple of 9 pieces based on the theme of the September 11th suicide attack to the New York Towers. BORN BLIND
2000
Ulm, Statdhaus
Installation of sound

Born Blind was composed using a series of interviews gathered in Pristina tell us about the problem of women raped by Serbian soldiers who later gave birth to children that no one wants. Children abandoned by their mothers and not properly followed by health facilities where they are often "parked" are destined to a future of disability and marginalization should survive!'s Work is contained in an imaginary digital territory superimposed on the floor of a room where people can freely move. The soil is controlled by a camera placed on the ceiling. The people shooting from the room are interpreted by the computer as points moving on a virtual page stored in the memory of the computer. On the page of the circular shapes are designed to contain various pieces of the interviews. When the dot / person overlaps the circle of sound, the computer does hear the voices of the people interviewed. On the floor there are no signals and only the movement of people need to hear the songs of various interviews. The territory that explores is organized as a real physical space man-made: the center is the nucleus with the voices of those most involved in the problem, then as you move away from the center you hear voices and sounds that tell the context of the lived reality , until you hear only noise in the extreme periphery. The sounds emitted by the computer are spatialized, the visitor that is the perception that they come from time to time from different points around him.

BROADWAY
2000
Milan, PAC, Pavilion of Contemporary Art, Sui Generis

Broadway is an installation of sounds contained in an architectural space of a few meters to the side, empty and passable freely by the users. Broadway describes the places. Possible venues, real imaginary, fantastic, probable, or told or seen one single super-place described by sounds or noises. The visitor with his participation gives life to the installation that would otherwise be an anonymous space and quiet, reconstructs an intimate place on the sounds perceived by pasting the memories stored in its memory.
The structure. The territory of the installation is contained in a virtual resident in computer memory that has a symmetric double in the physical space outside. The space usable by the visitor is constantly monitored by a camera that tells the computer the area's situation: if it is crossed by someone. The area managed by the virtual machine is spread in a number of active zones that contain an internal sounds previously selected. If the image of a person from the camera is combined with an active area, this download its contents sound through the speakers located at the vertices of the territory outside. For each sound is also associated with a value of apparent spatial origin, through technology that allows Dolby surround sound, hear the sound as coming from any point of the space around.
The view. The view is not necessary except to keep a minimal ability to move and avoid possible obstacles. You have the ability to apply inner vision, use your mind's eye, finding the personal images that fit in with the sounds heard, for a different visual landscape that comes from within rather than sent from the outside, as in the vision eye. Each sound snaps and breaks away from the memory of the viewer an image fragment that reassembles the totality of the picture as a frame television: pixel by pixel.
The sounds. The sound material used comes from different media: television, Internet, radio whose emissions were recorded and then replayed, numerizzate. With the computer sound fragments that were extracted, such as building blocks, listening could trigger the mechanism of inner vision.
Broadway is a work on memory. The installation creates an autonomous territory, only possible in the construction which in turn gives the visitor interacting with the memory: that of the computer and its own. The memory of familiar sounds or regulars are a filter through which emerge visual perceptions. Also work in the area, any territory. One installation to make sensible a space, architecture, roads, a square, a wall. Utopia which is embodied.

BEYOND THE RIVER OF LIGHT
1998
Sound Installation
Transmission distance with a laser beam of a Zen story
Speaker, electronic circuits, laser

Sound installation composed of a laser light generator and a speaker receiver. The laser light is modulated by the sound of a recorded story. The laser beam is projected onto a speaker that is 15/20 meters and with a suitable electronic device converts the modulated laser light back into sound. The laser beam is then used as the vehicle and support to send remote sound. The transmitted text is a short story describing the Zen request for a monaco silly in a test, to make a useless sleight of hand beyond a river to prove his talent. If people interrupt the light of the laser beam with the hands or an object the speaker is muted since no longer receives the beam of red light in the inside of which is concealed the sound. Light becomes the physical medium of the message of Zen enlightenment and spatial dislocation of sound quips with the bizarre request of monaco.

FISH SINGERS / SWIMMING SOUND
1996 - Florence, Galleria Santo Ficara
2000 - Rome, Palace of Expositions
2005 - Die Schachtel Gallery, Milan, Italy, Swimming Sounds
2006 - Offida, Teatro Golden Snake, Swimming Sounds

This installation uses the same speakers' sensing Sonet Lux in Tenebris. " The number of speakers is however significantly greater. The work mocks the concept of interactivity than in years past was the magic word for many jobs. Interactivity has been delegated to the goldfish completely unaware of their valuable contribution and insensitive artistic event. The shadow of the fish taken in an aquarium is projected on sensitive speakers that react with a set of sounds like crystals and finally give voice to the fish.

This installation uses the same sensitive loudspeakers of "Lux in Tenebris Sonet." The number of loudspeakers is making greater. The work is ironic about the idea of interactivity Which Has Been in recent years the most magical word for works. Interactivity Has Been handed over to some red fish unaware of Their precious contribution and unaffected by the artistic event. The shadow of the fish in an aquarium is cast on the sensitive loudspeakers Which react with a group of sounds just like crystals and at long last lend a voice to the fish.

SMELL-LINK
1996
Image transmission via the Internet scented
Transmission of images by olfactive Internet
Turin, Museum of Radio
In collaboration with the Italian Foundation for Photography and Digital Computers

This project describes a performance installation with which send at a distance, by means of a communications network preconceived images scented. For now it is not yet possible to pass a perfume through a wire or a connection to a data communication network, as the conductor of the same material, usually copper or glass, is impermeable to odors. The same properties, applied to a container constructed of the same material of the conductor aforesaid, avoids that the perfume is dispersed in the air unnecessarily: happily principle used by manufacturers of essences. Even the photographs sent by fax from the office do not go physically in the wire, even reaching out and making tiny little. And 'necessary transposition, a reinterpretation of the object by means of a code of interpretation that respects the constitutive nature of the machine used for long distance transmission. The same is done for photography when our girlfriend to the sea you do not crush on the film in the camera, or the actor on the glass inside the cathode ray tube television. Despite these considerable difficulties you can use a device that allows to obtain the difficult, seemingly magical, sending. The transmission of the scent becomes a conceptual operation, a purely mental dislocation whose effective realization is blindly rely on an automated system that, beyond us, allows us to perceive with the sense of smell a solicitation invisible. And 'again a transposition of interpretive code in accordance with the capabilities and limitations of the machine used. It creates an artificial prolongation of the way our wrist or our fragrant nose questing, the landscape of a meadow full of flowers is virtually present with its hints spring to our sense of smell, as it is virtually present to our view through the photographic image: static or dynamic.

The picture and sent her perfume at a distance, then processed electronically by a computer, they emerge from the labyrinth of microcellular digital chips are no longer the same images seen previously, are only "sub species" the same photograph that we recognize as and that we adhere to and overlap with the previous picture view before treatments of decomposition and recomposition mail. In fact, we unconsciously accept the code of interpretation of the machine that makes him seem plausible: we join with pleasure to a deception. The view of the simulations of virtual reality systems presences that allow us has already vast: from the time the phone carries voice, photography and television devices the image; feel has already been explored in erotic version. Still missing the taste and smell, but for the latter barriers are now nicked. For the moment the transmission of scent relies, as we said, of an artifice, that is still a bit of the fragrance 'arbitrary in the transmitted image. The transposition is seen in poetic terms of artistic operation. This project seeks to predict and to solicit, further scientific and practical that they are less empirical letters written on scented paper and old risque calendars distributed by barbers at Christmas.

SMELL-LINK
This project Describes in performing installation perfumed That can send images at a distance, by means of a pre-constituted communication networks.
For the moment it is not possible yet to convey a perfume through a wire or a connection of a telematic network, in as much as its conductive material, normally copper or glass, are impermiable to odors. The same characteristic, applied to a container constructed with the same materials Mentioned above, Avoids the perfume from escaping to the open air. This principle is used with success by the producers of essences. Also the photographs sent by fax from the office can not easily pass through a wire not even physically stretching and Becoming very small. A transposition is Necessary, a new reading of the object by means of an interpretation tails That Shall respect the constituent nature of the machine used for the transmission at distance. The same operation for the photographs Occurs When our girl-friend at the sea shore does not squash herself on the film inside the room, or the actor on the glass inside the cathodic tube screen of the television sets. At spite of These difficulties it is possible to use a trick Which will allow to send the dispatch difficult. The transmission of perfume then Becomes a conceptual operation ', mental dislocation for its realization uses an automatic system That will allow us to perceive the smell with an invisible solicitation. It is a transposition codes of interpretation with respect to the capability of the machine used and its limitations. Therefore One can artificially extend the wrist or the Investigating perfumed nose, the landscape of a field full of flowers is virtually present with its scent in the spring same way as our eyes are virtually present through the photographic image, weather it be static or dynamic.

The image and its perfume sent at a distance, then processed electronically by a computer, When they surface from the micro cellular labyrinth of the digital chips are not the same images seen formerly, they are only "sub species" the same photograph That We Recognize as longer available and we make and adhere to superimpose the # previous photograph seen before the treatment disassembling and reassembling electronic. unconsciously In effect we accept the interpretation of the machine code Which makes it Appear Likely: we comply with pleasure to a trick. The comprehensive survey of the simulations of the appearance That the systems of virtual reality give us is extensive: for a long time the phone Transmitted the voice, photography and the television apparatus the image, touch has Already Been investigated also in. its erotic version. We are missing still taste and smell but for this last sense the barriers now Have Been notched. For the time being the transmission of perfume avails itself of an artefact arbitrary scenting the meaning of the Transmitted image. The transposition is seen in poetic terms of an artistic operation. With this project we try to foresee and to solicit, further scientific and practical developments can be less empirical Which of the letters written on perfumed paper and the antique pin-up calenders distributed by the barbershops at Christmas time.

Interactive installation to commemorate the 50 years by the explosion of the first atomic bombs
Japan. When this happened, on the walls of Hiroshima remained imprinted some shadows. These corresponded to the silhouette of the people who happened to be at that moment. The great light of the explosion faded the wall, but the body of the person has protected the wall itself the light that is in this way kept track of who was the "at that moment. The same effect is achieved with a camera and a computer that photographing the persons who approach the installation. The silhouette of the visitors is video-projected briefly on a small towel hanging in front of those who participate. In its original version, the ground is strewn with rubble.

"Memory of the Surface is intended to recall the drama of Hiroshima and Nagasaki's nuclear explosions. On That Day, the 6th of August, 1945, there must have Been a man with a ladder working high up on a roof somewhere. At the very moment of the explosion of the atom bomb, the man disappeared. During Those seconds of dazzling light His body shielded the wall behind him and left an imprinted shadow. In this strange snapshot, the ladder and the man's body are Clearly visible. Paradoxically survived the ladder and Remained in position. This work, Begun in 1992 evolved from my previous installations Sonet Lux in Tenebris and Licht und Tonobjekte, where light-sensitive sound generators are sets in motion by the shadows of visitors Bringing the installation to life. One could control pitch, tone and volume by varying the density of the shadows. Each of the sound generators and was tuned differently Therefore the sound composition was full of unpredictable and variable effects. Subsequently, I experimented with the idea of preserving a bright shadow of an accidental visitor on a wall by covering it with an irregular pattern of small lights That would be activated by the shadows cast by people moving in front of it. This version of Memory of the Surface was made in 1995 using a computer, video camera and video projector. The installation employs a small room Which films the exhibition space and the people in it The image from the video camera is digitized and stored in the computer memory. The computer controls the sound, the projection, and the flash of the halogen lamp. The installation's dramatic sequence begins with the roar of an airplane in flight. The sound is similar to the bombers That flew over Japanese cities in 1945. At the climax, the sound suddenly breaks off and a flash of a powerful halogen lamp simulates the blast. During the flash, the camera takes a photograph of the visitors Which is instantly processed by the computer and projected onto a light-colored screen in front of them. The image is in black and white, at the highest available contrast, without gray tones. For a few second one can see black figures on the white background. Then, the picture fades and reappear in reverse, as a negative film, with white figures on a black background. After few seconds the negative image fades and the cycle starts ounces blackberries. The projections on the screen are made with an ordinary video projector behind the screen Marks Placed on the floor indicated where the visitors Should stand to be photographed by the video camera. Interactive sound installation composed of 96 small speakers that have the property of generating a note which can be tuned in height and volume during the finalization of the work. The speakers, silent, are placed on the ground on bricks or porphyry cubes dipped in a light that comes from a beacon that illuminates the scene. When a person passes in front of them cast their shadow on the installation. The sudden lack of light makes it react speakers remained in the shadows that emit their sound. People with their movement in front of the installation comprise sets of elementary sounds with the movement of his body. The whole body is reminiscent of a primary drinking silent light and reacts when such power is suddenly removed.

Interactive sound installation made up of 96 small loudspeakers That Which generated sound can be tuned both in pitch and volume During the final set-up of the work. The silent loudspeakers are Placed on the ground upon porphyry bricks or blocks and immersed in a Light That That comes from a spot light illuminates the scene. A person passing in front of the loudspeakers casts His shadow on the installation. The sudden lack of light gets shaded each loudspeaker to produce it's sound. The people by moving in front of the installation groups composed of basic sounds. Recalls The whole an elementary organism That silently drinks and the light Reacts When Is It suddenly deprived of it.
